Yes, Windows Vista Ultimate 64-bit.

Are you saying that AMD supports Vista in all thier new products? So it doesn't matter who makes the card, the AMD driver will run the card properly? What about "overclock" and stuff like that? Is that a manufacturer feature? Does it handle that or will it default to the base clock speed?

I'm just wondering if I should open it or return it to get another card.

AMD provide drivers to their product.
The driver will work on any board manufacturer for e.g Sapphire,XFX,ASUS ...etc
Inside the Catalyst Control Center there is an option to overclock and by doing so will void the warranty.
Everything will run at default base clock speed unless you plan to overclock.
Giving the rest of your PC specs would be helpful to see if any problem should arise.

Actually, that was the wrong video card I'm replacing.
It's this.
ZOTAC ZT-70401-10P GeForce GTX 760 2GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 SLI Support Video Card

It prolly doesn't matter, but just to confirm, since it's nVidia, do I need to uninstall everything prior to installing the AMD one? Or will it just recognize it's a new one and default to "Windows Generic" type of drivers?

You should uninstall the old AMD driver.
After that download and install driver from Nvidia website.

Mine is... >Information> Hardware

But it seems to be a version from 2013, which is the one it gave me when I chose Vista 64-bit.

It should be 2013 since it was released on 2013.
It seems that you should use the latest driver AMD to take advantage of the new card.
http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/desktop?os=Windows+7+-+64
Uninstall the current driver and install the latest one from above.
Let me know if it works.

It didn't work. It said this.

No AMD graphics driver is installed, or the AMD driver is not functioning properly. Please install the AMD driver appropriate for your AMD hardware.
