Why did my C: Drive lose 5GB of free space?

This morning there was 5.56 GB of free space on my C: drive.

I was gonna update my Nvidia Geforce graphics driver from version 344.65 to 344.75, through "geforce experience", but it failed. It downloaded the whole file (300MB), but the installation wasn't successful. I tried twice with no success.

So i uninstalled the older drivers and deleted everything "Nvidia" from my drive. And after a reboot, the C: drive had suddenly lost all that free space and was down to only 300MB of free space.

I thought, maybe the page file suddenly took up that much space cause i deleted my graphics drivers. But after i re-installed the older driver (344.65), the C: drive still had only 500MB of free space.

How can i get my free space back?

Solution
If you delete hidden system files, you can create further problems.

If your drive is full, do not put any more data on it. Get another drive and start to use the new drive instead. 5gb will not make much difference.

Any way i can get rid of them? Makes sense, that windows would automatically make a restore file, cause i also deleted a few other stuff that were "hidden system files".

How can i get rid of them?
