So I've been recently having the problem with my i7 950 cpu overheating. I have a h80 corsair liquid cooling system that has worked for years. All of a sudden the cpu started to get hotter. I replaced the liquid cooling system 3 times and it was the same temp (80c).

Now i started to get cpu fan error on my Asus sabertooth x58 and it would sky rocket to 80c on boot. I turned it off and left it a lone for a week. I placed the liquiding cooling heatsink in a chassis fan outlet rather than cpu fan and ran the computer. It idled for 5 hours at 30c while playing some minor games. I turn it off to put in a different gpu to see if my old one still works and turn the computer on. It goes up to 80c again and it says Cpu fan error.

I once again turn off the computer and unplug it for an hour. Then turn it on again and this time its idling at 30c again. Is something wrong with my motherboard or is my bios messed up?
