I'm wanting to get a new custom built computer that will run current and games to come. I have a budget of roughly $1500 but can go from $800-$1800 if I really have to. Will this build below be able to run games on ultra e.g Dragon age inquisition, Witcher 2, Bio shock infinite, Wolfenstein New Order, and other games? I'm just wondering if I'm missed anything, bottlenecked the pc, something isn't compatible or if my system will be able to handle upgrades in the future! Thanks.
Note: My original build was $1257 but the graphics card was r9 280 and wouldn't be able to run most games at ultra. Also I'm living in Australia and am getting my components from pccasegear.

Processor: i7 4790k $399
Graphics card: Msi Gtx 970 $519.00 (lower watts then r9 290x and cheaper electricity bill in long run) or Sapphire r9 290x $500 (motherboard below better suited with more features aimed at amd)
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-B85M-D3H Motherboard $99.00
Cooling: CoolerMaster Hyper 212 EVO CPU Cooler $39
Ram: G.Skill Ripjaws X F3-12800CL9D-8GBXL (2x4GB) DDR3 $105.00
Solid state: Kingston SSDNow V300 60GB SSD (2.5 inch or is that for laptops) $59.00 + $67 = $126 Western Digital WD Blue 1TB WD10EZEX (3.5 inch)
Case: Cooler Master Force 500 - Mid Tower Computer Case with USB 3.0 $49 or Antec P280 Black Super Mid Tower with Window $159 (is the price worth it to reduce noise by graphics cards?)
Cd drive: Samsung SH-224DB 24x DVDRW OEM $19
Power supply: Silverstone ST50F-ES Silverstone Strider Essential ST50F-ES230 500W Power Supply $65 (if going for Gtx 970 otherwise bigger power supply needed). With r9 290x Cougar PowerX 700W 80 PLUS Bronze Power Supply $85
Wireless network card: TP-Link TL-WN851ND 300Mbps Wireless N PCI Adapter $22
GTX graphics card build (w Cooler Master Force 500) = $1442
GTX graphics card build (w antec p280) = $1552
R9 290x (w Cooler Master Force 500) = $1443
R9 290x (w antec p280) = $1533

MA 700W power supply would be needed for r9 290x but only a 500w for gtx 970, is cooling sufficient and is the case alright? I was thinking about choosing a quiet case so I don't hear graphics card all the time. Heard they can get loud. Case, graphics card and component sizing, cooling sufficient, loudness (need a better case?), power.

Solution
I'll recommend this build over that.
Around 100$ more but it is worth it.
And
i5 is enough for gaming

not bad but CPU and mobo seem to be a bit unbalanced. For entry level mobo you are getting i7 4790k which is a quite overkill.

Im not sure if you will be able to overclock CPU with mobo of your choice. If you are not going to overclock CPU get 4790 NON k version.

Money you will save over non K version could be spent on 120 gb SSD, 60 gb SSD is just way too small, you will end up cleaning c partition all the time
