Samsung 840 evo ssd slows down when no network

Yeasterday my optical internet was down because of the isp changing something but problem is not in the isp, but in the ssd when internet was down - ssd became so slow - slower than hdd, opening program like mozilla took about 5-7s, or playing a song with vlc in diferent drives (two hdd, and usb flash) took about 5s to new song appear on the vlc,but this only happened with programs, windows was starting normaly and finding a song or looking into the folder was fast like the earlier time, so what is wrong? now with internet working, it works as it should be.... :??:

If you haven't done it so far, you should use the samsung evo performance recovery soft: http://www.samsung.com/global/business/semiconductor/minisite/SSD/us/html/support/downloads.html

It fixes known issues that induce decreased performance.

Do you the performance restore nonetheless, it should increase your SSD performance.

The problem with internet down is weird I agree.

No just make sure you let the program run without touching anything (it may take a while though, be prepared).

Yes do it and go do something else, it may take up to an hour based on how full your SSD is.

is it possible the programs you're using are trying to call home, either to validate or to upload your playlist etc, and they can't with the net down?
