MSI z97 gaming 7 or GIGABYTE GA-Z97x Gaming 7

Solution
Don't take me wrong, MSI has improved(allot), they are using good components now. For example the MSI Z97 Gaming 7 has a digital 12 phase VRM design(6 true using a doubler) with good chokes and mosfets. They perform good but it's the small problems here and there, like DIMM issues and motherboard failing over time, that puts them a tad under the other brands.

The Maximus VII Ranger is a good motherboard, it's just a step below the Hero which is a beast.
If you can find one then go for it(haven't seen one in a North America store so far though).

If the Ranger is unavailable, get the Gigabyte Gaming 5/7(better bang for buck).

Gigabyte for sure, better component quality and a solid board overall.
But if you're looking for a motherboard in that price range, you're better of with the Gigabyte GA-Z97X-UD5H-BK.
Better board then those two.

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z97X-UD5H-BK ATX LGA1150 Motherboard ($184.98 @ OutletPC)
Total: $184.98
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available

Now a question, do you really need a ~$180 motherboard?
Most of the time, in terms of overclocking and performance, you're better of with a ~$130 motherboard.
Unless you're looking for a specific feature.

Actually, my purpose is for 24/7 gaming & i reviewed some z97 gaming board's which have ton's of feature's , benefit my need's. Some interested feature's i.e..M.2, The Killer E2200, Good sound feature's come's with creative, USB audio boost & etc....please suggest me a best board for buck as my range is $180. Also noticed MSI z97 gaming 7 Approved by Toms Hardware 2014 at their official website, some online reviewed helped me to make sure of it but on same competitive line Gigabyte Ga-Z97x- gaming 7 made me too hard to choose one. Another question, Why people in here putting some negative comment on MSI motherboard's, please let me know. Thank you

Ok, the features you named there are good to have. But you should know that those features can be found on $150 motherboard too. Now, the reason I'm saying that is because with the saved money you can get a better graphics card. Which will help greatly in gaming. You can get something like a R9 280X or even a R9 290.

For the best on-board audio solution, you can't beat Gigabyte's G1.Sniper motherboards. The rest of the motherboards are all the same. They use the same Realtek ALC 1150 controller and just slap a 'gaming' skin on it(to make it look serious). The Gigabyte GA-G1.Sniper Z97 is also a nice motherboard to consider(this one has the good sound), only thing lacking is the M.2 support.

In the ~$150 price range, Would get either of the Gigabyte ones:

In the ~$180 price range, would get the Gigabyte Z97X-Gaming 7. A comparison here:

MSI is getting negative comments here, because they have a history of failing motherboards and the use of cheap components. They have improved over the last year or so but they're still not on the quality and reliability level of ASUS and Gigabyte. Most of the stuff you find on MSI boards can be found on other brands too(and sometimes better).

So it's up to you really, all the the boards listed above are good, you won't tell a difference when using the computer. The difference is in quality, reliability and getting real features instead of gimmicks. It's just a matter of how you're gonna balance your budget in your build.

Well, for now i'm not planning to buy a new GPU. Regarding MSI board's, for first time i heard they are compromised with their quality, thank you for informing that, M.2 feature really beneficial so i wanna make sure that ASUS MAXIMUS VII RANGER got that? If do, then how about this RANGER MOBO?..Can it be a best bang for buck according to my given spec's?. Let me know because my budget as i mentioned already which is $180. Thank you

Gigabyte and Asus are the main brands when it comes down to motherboards but MSI have dramatically improved their quality in recent years to the point where boards such as their gaming range are as good as anything Gigabyte or Asus can knock out. You also have to take aesthetics into account, The MSI gaming range are the best low-mid gaming boards around in my view. In the end it comes down to which brand you prefer, Gigabyte is the safer option but if you buy the motherboard from a reputable retailer then i wouldn't hesitate in going for the MSI board
