Hello! I just bought a pair of Razer Tiamat 7.1. When i plugged them in, i didn't get the "Drivers installing" message, and nothing happened. The sound works when i test them in my "Realtek HD-Soundprocessing" that opens up automatically when i plug it in , but i can't seem to find the Audio Source!

I went to the Sound options where i can choose outputs, and my SPEAKERS show up as a headset, and my tiamats shop up as as speakers. The name of the audio source is "Razer Surround Audio Controller". This is the only Audio source with the word Razer in it.

However! They don't seem to work for anything else than in the Realtek thing! Is there anything i should do upon first use? And anything i should download?

And also, there's a problem with the bass when i use it in 7.1... How do i fix it?

Solution
When you run the Realtek speaker test by clicking each speaker or using the blue arrow do the sounds come from the right location and do you get any bass in that test.

If you get no sound or improper sound from the center and sub test, try to use the swap center / subwoofer output option. I have yet to see this be an issue, but you never know.

It almost seems like something is not connected or plugged in all the way. ensure the 3.5mm jacks are firmly attached to the computer(3.5mm jacks should stop when fully connected and not be able to be pushed in too far).

They have a quick setup guide on the razer website as well.

That headset should use the default onboard card.

The USB seems to power it control unit, but your current sound card should do everything else. No fancy driver or anything.

Make sure you connected all 4 3.5mm jacks and set the system to 7.1.

The bass may sound wrong if you have enabled a feature called bass management in the realtek software.

Just got the sound to work! But the quality is just HORRIBLE!! When i tested them on my friends computer, it was great! Maybe something to do with my soundcard? it's integrated on my motherboard: http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=4949#ov, but it says it's good enough for the tiamats. (sound card is Realtek ALC1150)
