upgrade 775 socket MB

PC specs: 775 socket Intel Pentium e5700 3.00 GHz duel core, gtx 660, ram: DDR3 "channel" dual, "size" 4GB " 2GB ea, also should put the chip-set is p45/p43/g45/g43 Leveno manufacturer Really I just want to upgrade my ram but if i can get a better processor with that for around 200$-250$ that be great. Would also like to note that I want to use the same mb.

sad thing is not much left out there for 775 you may be better off getting up to the day

best bet for the oem board is at e-bay from a pull a part unit I would guess

I have the board Im just wondering processor wise or ram wise. what i should get. I mean if you could find me 8gb ram total i'd be happy with that alone for now in abou 2-3 months i'll complete upgrade untill then I want something suitable

now with memory I do see a few guys with 775 boards find the newer manufactured memory don't work on them

seeing you said ''Leveno '' you may find only what they shipped on it from them is all that may work on it anyway due to it may have a fixed bios for just that support ??
