Whats the better system out of these two?

They are pretty similar systems in some sense but they're slightly different. My purpose is for gaming and the budget is £1000
System 1:
CPU: i7 4790 3.6 GHz
RAM: Kingston HyperX Savage 16GB 2133mhz
GPU: Nvidia GTX 970
Motherboard: Asus Z97-P
Hdd+Ssd: 2TB HDD+128GB SSD
Case: Coolermaster K350
Windows 8.1 64bit on the ssd
Standard cooling

System 2:
CPU: FX 9590 OC 5 GHz
RAM: Kingston HyperX Savage 8GB 2133mhz
GPU: Nvidia GTX 970
Motherboard: Gigabyte 990FXA-UD3
Hdd+Ssd: 2TB HDD+128GB SSD
Case: Corsair Graphite 230T
Windows 8.1 64bit on the ssd
Cooler Master Seidon 120V Water Cooler

First off, that piece of crap water cooler is NOT going to be enough for the 9590.
And second, the intel build would give you better FPS. but why do you want 16GB of ram? You will be golden with just 8GB.

....another edit: What monitor will you be using?
