Hi,

My laptop is quite slow and I heard about Solid state drives is it difficult to replace my hard drive with this.

Or is better to go with a memory upgrade instead?

Solution
I'd say upgrade your Ram but you won't be able to use anything over 3.5GB but still it would be better than the 2GB you have now. You could put a SSD in there and you will most likely get some performance increase but only when opening files and start up but your lack of memory will still slow you down. You also didn't mention the size of your hard drive but with so little ram it really doesn't matter.

My laptop is a stone laptop and the model number is W76T

My specs for my laptop are currently :

Windows 8.1

Processor: Pentium(R) Dual-Core CPU T4400 @ 2.20GHZ

Installed memory (RAM) 2.00GB

System type: 32-bit Operating System, x64-based processor

Hope this is the correct thing.
