Hi, just got my MSI gtx 970 through the mail today.
Installed it, and my computer just keeps rebooting after the BIOS screen, over and over. It reboots after saying 'Loading Operating System' on a black screen just after the BIOS screen.
Not sure what the problem is if anyone can help?
I was using an MSI Radeon HD6450 previously, and didnt uninstall the drivers, a friend said that this might be a problem? But another says that it should still load up anyway? I have no way to use the onboard graphics of the motherboard either to install the drivers afterwards as my mobo has an HDMI port only and my monitor is VGA only.
Any help would be appreciated.
Im running:

i5 3750k
Corsair 750 PSU
4gb RAM (Acceleram)
Gigabyte z68 ap3d mobo
1tb hdd.

Not all motherboards play nice with maxwell chips, disable secure boot if you have that option which may fix it. Also disable fast boot if the secure boot thing didn't work, doing these may or may not fix the issue. If you still have problems contact MSI VGA & Motherboard : 1-626-271-1004 Press 1 Hours: Mon-Fri (9:00AM - 6:00PM PST)

If you still have problems just back up your files and try doing a fresh install of windows, remember that you can use your same windows key as long as you are still using the same motherboard that the old os was on

im looking at motherboard compatibility like, and ive had my mobo for 3 years almost, but from what im reading it should be able to handle it? I'm beginning to think the card is just defective to be honest with you, Ive tried everything nearly but it still just continues to reboot when i press the power button, it wouldnt even let me go into safe mode
