I want to buy a sapphire r9 260x

I will play at 720p....

Will it run all the latest fps and other action adventure games??

If yes then at what settings and what avg fps

My cpu i3 4130

4Gb ram

Solution

lol who said that??

i get 60-80fps in farcry 4 :)

its the developers fault for not preparing games properly... only ubisoft for that matter... all their games released this year except farcry 4 and the crew are completely broken

in short ubisoft sucks

games run well both on nvidia and AMD cards.. the new catalyst omega driver update has boosted the performance even further that before

AA is a graphical setting in games. It causes a LOT of stress on your video. Turn it OFF for better performance.
We are referencing to 720p. Your setup will explode at 1080p.

anti aliasing is a gpu setting for 1080p and below.. which makes the edge of the graphics look smoother and realistic.. but it can also put a lot of load on the gpu.. therefore disable it in the game whenever you play

I have R7 260x and i3 4130 too but 8GB ram. You can play far cry 4 evil within battlefield 4 on medium settings at 1080p with at least 50-60 frames and 30-40frames at high settings.. and yes with AA enabled, just FXAA. You can play at high settings with older games at 70+ fps @1080p and 30-40fps at ultra settings. Your setup is good and can handle games well with smooth frames at 1080p. How much more at 720p? Just get 8GB ram.
By the way if you have extra money get a GTX 750ti. R7 260x has a lot of problem like BSOD, instability and bad drivers. Trust me, a lot of people have problems with it.

bsod and instability with gpu is usualy due to bad drivers..thats all

new AMD Catalyst Omega drivers are coming soon and will fix lot of performance issues and optimizations..keep an eye open for it

Both are good companies, but personally I'd choose Nvidia. They produce less heat than AMD, has physx, built in ambient occlusion feature and I forgot the rest. While AMD has better value for the money and has mantle . No one is better than the other.. pick the features you care the most. Some games are optimized for AMD and some for Nvidia. So it depends what kind of games you'll be playing, which game is optimized for who.
