Looking into getting swiftech H240x in order to save some money on a custom loop. My question is that eventually i would like to add a water block and a 80mm thick 280mm rad and a gpu block into the loop, do you think that the pump on the above kit could handle that?

Also when it comes to the newer nvidia cards that reach max oc without really getting that hot, does water cooling even have a benefit?

Solution
If you have a really good case cooling solution, (i.e., all possibly case fans in place, high static pressure fans for the intakes, well configured fan controls.) and keep the internal case temps really good, you shouldn't need water cooling for the GPU at all. That being said, you might find you have less noise, as the GPU fans may buzz up quite a bit under a full load with a respectable OC but for the most part, it really depends on the card and model.
