Hi guys,

Yesterday I've ordered an AMD FX-8350 and I've also bought a used Sapphire R9 290 and PSU. I've been noticing some high temperatures on by motherboard.

My computer specs are:

AMD FX-8350 (not sure, but I think I'm using a Cooler Master Hyper 101 cooler)
Asrock 870 Extreme3 R2.0 (updated bios to 1.8)
R9 290 4GB
G.Skill Ripjaws X 8gb
2x 500gb WD
Corsair CX750M

The CPU and GPU temperatures are fine, even after running Far Cry 4 for two hours (I do seem to have some coil whine from my GPU, but it doesn't bother me that much).
But the motherboard in idle is showing some worrisome temperatures, or is this normal?

I have no clue what AUXTIN is, but it's hitting 85 degrees Celsius.

Thanks in advance!

The AUXTIN reading is for the PSU, if there is a temp indicator. Does your PSU feel hot to the touch?

Thanks for all the quick answers! I had to leave my computer, so I couldn't answer immediately.

Ah ok, thanks for clarifying that! I thought it had something to do with the motherboard.
The PSU feels very quite cold actually. I've googled it, but I couldn't find if my PSU has a temp indicator.

I have a good airflow in my computer case. A good friend of mine gave me his enormous Antec case with one gigantic fan on top, and three inside. He optimized everything it for maximum airflow.

Is there a better software reader perhaps?

Here's a screen with Open hardware monitor and ASRock extreme tuning utility.

So it is possible that these readings are completely wrong and that my PSU is not getting too hot?

Thanks a lot guys!! I got kind off worried there. I bought a used GPU and PSU (the guy promised he hardly used it, but who knows...) and I don't have warranty for it. So it was a leap of faith..

Anyway, thanks a lot!
