Does ASUS H97-Plus fit with the GTX750 Ti (MSI TF)?

Hi, I have a doubt:
I plan to build a (Core i7-based) work + light gaming PC with:

- motherboard: ASUS H97-Plus
- graphics card: GTX750 Ti (MSI N750 Ti TF 2GD5/OC)

...but the Device_report list for the ASUS H97-Plus [1] skips from the GTX660 to the GTX760.
Does that mean the board could have problems with GTX750 models? (perhaps because the card is bus-powered?)
Did somebody try the above combination?

I need a solid, reliable, decently supported, non-OC motherboard for work (mainly sw/hw development, sometimes in vm) and a low-power, silent graphics card for light gaming... definitely not BF4 :)

The alternative boards I considered were ASRock H97 Pro4 (my son has one and has sporadic CMOS trouble at cold power up - the battery looks OK, perhaps it's the PSU) and GIGABYTE GA-H97-D3H (from what I read, ASUS has a slightly better reputation).

Any alternative suggestions are of course welcome.
