Okay, I know I'm overheating-- I'm reaching the intel max of 100c in this specific game (and a few others), and I have horrid fps. Here's what I want to know--
Will having max temp (Yet the cpu speed isnt 100%, i need a new heatsink, one is in mail) cause my FPS to drop to 10 or less? Its usually 30-60 in less intensive areas.
I'm asking because I want to know if I need a new CPU on top of said heatsink, or if that much overheating can really cause my fps to tank that much.
