My hyper 212 evo doesnt fit.

The screws do not fit on the bracket. Its the X bracket not aligning with the brack where the screws go. I have a z97 u3 Plus. http://imgur.com/a/HhOFA

more information please. what motherboard do you have, did you change the backplate etc

Looks like you are not using the correct screw positions: it looks like your mounting screws are at the inner-most position while they should be in the mid-position. Move the screws out one notch and you should be fine.

well by the looks of the the screws arent seated into the right "holes" check what socket you have and check in the manual what holes the screws should be in.

someone who actually own a hyper 212 evo migt be able to help you out better then I do though.

there also are tons if video's on youtube of how to mmount that specific cooler.
