I purchased this laptop back in September, and it's been functioning great thus far. The past couple of days however, I've been getting some mild to severe green artifacts and flickering screen. At first I thought there was something wrong with the nvidia card as it started while playing games, but now it happens almost all the time.

I can't seem to figure out if the GPU(s) are dying, if there is a faulty connection, or some other problem I don't know exists.

All nvidia and intel graphics drivers are up to date.

Thanks.

Its a hardware issue and I don't know what the answer is. Mine is doing the same thing. The screen flickers all the time. If I press on the lower right hand corner of the monitor or apply pressure to certain areas of the monitor it stops which leads me to believe its a lose connection. I sent my computer into Lenovo to fix the problem in November and it temporarily solved the problem but now 3 months later its doing the same damn thing all over again! Of course Lenovo told me the warranty is expired and im going to have to pay this time around. Lots of people are having this problem with the Y510P. I think its a manufacturing problem, and i'm afraid even if it gets fixed its just going to continue to pop back up again later on down the...

Very likely something wrong with the graphics chip - I would send it back under warranty. Could be something overheating - I had similar issues when I used to overclock graphics cards a bit too much
