Hey guys, I just got my samsung 500g ssd and I want to clone my drive over but theres a lot of junk on it, I would just do a fresh install of windows, but Im not currently by a place with interwebs without a data limit and I dont have an office disk anymore. I I was wondering if there is an easy way to clone windows, and windows programs (mabye some other programs too) to my new ssd. Like office suit and media player.

When you clone, you have to clone an entire partition or partitions. You cannot clone just some of the data on a partition and exclude other data that's on that partition. If you could, it wouldn't be a clone by definition (as in "identical in every way").

If there is plenty of free space left on the existing drive you may be able to shrink the system partition before cloning in order to make it fit on the 500 GB SSD. You can shrink it in Disk Management if that option is available.
