windows 7 vs windows 8.1 for gaming...

Looks like you need an upgrade, that laptop would have problems trying to run most new games .
what really lacks is the cpu speed , and memory . Good to have a quadcore cpu@ 3.0ghz or more
and at least 6 gb of Ram . It has good speed ram though, decent graphics . But the real problem is the
cpu runing at 1.7ghz

yah gta sa and vc came out before windows 7 or 8 , long before .. so there might a patch for it to work with newer windows . looking around I see that many people can not run gta vc and sa on windows 7 or 8 . I would look around google to try and find a fix .. I have had to do that for older games on windows 7 , like Bf1942

I got it run today just follow these instructions
1. right click GTA SA shortcut
2. select properties
3. select Advanced
4. check run as admin
5. you should run the game with Integrated graphics new Nvidea graphics does't run the game . Change the default graphics processor to Integrated graphics from Nvidea control panel.
6. Run the game and enjoy.
