I have recently decided to buy an additional 4gbs RAM, but i forgot to check the timings to see if it will match with my current one.
Current 4gbs RAM:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820145322.

New 4gbs RAM:

I tried putting it into the computer when i got it and all i got was a blank screen saying no HDMI detected.
Is there anyway to lower the timing on the new one to match with the old RAM timings, or another way to fix this.

Thanks.

Edit:
Motherboard is Asus P7H55-M LX
Processor is Intel Core i3 550 @ 3.20 GHz

i tried updating Bios and still no change.

I know, but You need to sell the old stick and get identical new one. Or manually set the memory clock/latency in bios on both DiMM modules, and than re-insert the ram. In general You should make Timing 11-11-11-30 <- this, running into Timing 9-9-9-24. There should be no problem in that change of timing, since it's 1600 MHz stick. And also they both should run at 1333 MHz. Just set those values manually in BiOS with 1333 MHz module and after You set them, save settings, turn it off, and reinsert the module.
There's a very little chance that You should contract any issues at all with those two models. Please update Your BiOS to the newest one with genuine RAM module. Secondly, clear CMOS, or put out the battery with a non-running computer for at least 5 minutes, and put it back. That should solve Your problems. After, simply load BiOS defaults.

1333/9 and 1600/11 isn't really a good combo to try mixing, would start with the 1600 stick by itself in slot 1 and manually set to 10-10-10-30, and 1.55, save, exit, shutdown, then try adding the second stick in slot 3 if a 4 slot mobo...if still problems tell us mobo and CPU
