Custom pc crash!!! memory could not be read for like every program

Ok so I'm on my custom tower a hour ago that is two years old I guess now. All of a sudden I get a white screen behind firefox that says app crash windows explorer must close could not read memory, then I see many windows like that for every vital program including tea timer, win32, etc.. So I shut down and reboot. I get the same problem but without the white screen. Only I can't open firefox, ie, winrar, avg, and system settings. And even programs that will open I get many messages that say "the instruction at 0x74bc07a5 referenced memory at 0x74bdffff. the memory could not be read. click ok the terminate the program". It keeps popping up and my system is rendered useless in this state.

win 7 pro 64 bit
asus saber mobo
intel core i5 2500k stock
Corsair vengeance 2 2gb sticks 8-8-8-24 1.50v
Crucial Ballstix 2 4gb unsure on specs
evga gtx560 ti
adata 128 ssd
segate 1 tb spin drive

avg free 2015
spybot search and destroy for protection

What should I do? I would like to try to fix it before doing a clean install

Boot into safe mode / networking and do a full scan with something.

If ccleaner is installed go to tools/startup and uninstall. Bottom right. Copy and paste whats in startup and whats installed

In safe mode I still can't access any programs. Click and nothing happens

So are there any errors when you try and run something in safe mode?? Sounds like its infected or something.

Remove 1 stick of ram try 1 stick. See if that helps if that doesnt try the other. If both do the same thing test the ram with memtest

again i can't access anything on it including memtest. if i could access through my laptop here then maybe

You can use memtest. You can put it on cd or flash drive. Then you boot from it

You may have no other option but to do a clean install then

I was able to recover the files and now everything works as it should. The memory is working fine now. I will do a clean install after backing everything up.

Well unless youre using a program to back whatever up forget about copying programs back after. They wont work. Reinstall them
