Hi,

I booted up (New built pc) my computer to see that my idle temperatures are about 40 degrees Celsius on idle, I'm not sure if that's normal. Also my voltage is 1.056. I just wanted to know if these are high temps and if I should do anything , I have not yet ran a cpu stress test since I was worried that the cpu was going to crash and be damaged. If you do recommend I do a stress test, please tell me which one. Thanks

specs:
i7 4790k
gtx 970
h80i
Asus AR z97

What is "full load"?

Did you follow the load and idle test setups in the Guide? It's a solid and dependable way to benchmark your temperatures, and it always works.

Well, I read the guide but I'm still confused. BTW I did a test and my idle temps were about 35 degrees and the full load was about 90 with an h80i. Is this normal or did I install something wrong? Also, my average room temp is about 28 degrees celcius but I don't actually know the exact temperature (ambient)

voltage- 1.056
clock speed- 4.0ghz

Oh, ok thanks for clearing that up for me. I'll do the tests in the morning, thanks
