okay so i was planing to upgrade my rig to this the configuration :
CPU-fx 8320
GPU- gtx 970(galax 4gb)

Motherboard- ASUS M5A78L-M/USB3 Motherboard

PSU-Corsair VS550 550 Watt PSU

RAM-8gb(Corsair Vengeance DDR3 8 GB (1 x 8 GB))

Cabinet-Circle Gaming Series PC Cabinet CC-820

So i have couple of questions :
1.)How is this config for AAA games like far cry 4,AC:unity,witcher 3 etc.(in the sense how much fps can i get at all settings high?)

2.)Is this a better buy than ps4,(PS: ps4 is coming slightly cheaper than this config,in the place where i live)

3.)I already have a fx-6300(not Overclocked),so it with worth buying fx-8320(I mean by how much % could it bottleneck my pc)

PS:i dont intend to overclock my cpu ever

Solution
I won't recommend 8320 here. Better grab 8350 and yes this config is better than PS4. With GTX 970 and 8350 you will be able to get good FPS in games. With 8350 inside or even 8320 inside, there will hardly be any bottleneck plus whenever you feel like bottlenecking, you can overclock your CPU to get more results.

I would say it depends on what games you really want to play. Because there will be some games for the PS4 that won't be available for PC, (well namely JRPGs, Sony First party exclusives, and etc).

Otherwise the parts you pick will be fine for what you want to do. They'll last quite awhile and you'll probably get better FPS. On the other hand though, $400 (well at least in the states) gets you a console that pretty much will play most games for the next 4-5 years (though at probably 1080p/30fps)

the 6300 can easily be overclocked to 4.2, plenty of people are doing it.

6350 is an factory overclocked 6300 from 3.5GHz to 3.9GHz
an 8320 is stock 3.5GHz so overclocking will still be needed.

Upto you, try overclocking your 6300 to 4GHz, if you cant, get the 8350 4GHz.

If you can overclock your 6300 to that level, any bottlenecks will be gone and would have saved money, your call.

The other thing to consider, many people try to make their pc like a ps4. While they may be similar, they're not the same. The games (assuming identical titles) are coded differently. They're coded more efficiently for the ps4 (or whatever console they're designed for) since they know the exact parts/software of the platform they're running on and it won't change. Pc's can be all over the place in terms of hardware, drivers, os's etc etc. Also since the game console is doing nothing but gaming, it will provide the same performance each and every time. A pc's performance will vary based on hard drive fragmentation, how many programs are open, what's running, how much ram is available at that time - there are countless variables from gaming session to gaming session on the exact same pc.

This isn't to say consoles are 'better' or that a pc can't produce high quality graphics at smooth (60+) fps. I would treat the pc as a pc and compare it to other pc's rather than trying to compare it to consoles since they're really nothing alike. Even if the gpu hardware specs are better on a pc it doesn't mean it will perform better. In the same way bitmining machines are so powerful, they're coded and streamlined to do one task and do it extremely well with no bloated code mucking things up when compared to bitmining with just an everyday pc and a high end graphics card.

The 8350 does have a nice score but bare in mind it's overclocked to 4.6GHz. The 6300@ 4.3GHz which trails the 8350 by 714points, what if they were the same clock speeds? To achieve those scores, the 8350 needs to be overclocked. Neos10's 6300 is perfectly fine, doesn't need to spend money on upgrading if overclocked.

I agree concerning console dynamics. Another thing console have going for them is operating systems leanness, meaning resources dedication.

Can do that with PC if know how. Consoles are PC clones, Playstation most of all have reversed adapted since their cell days. So now its just driver compatibility which both AMD and Nvidia play an important role. In my experience Rage and Alien Isolation have been plagued with problems due to those two driver negligence's, one more so than the other.

the same.

6300 and 8320 are both clocked at 3.5GHz.

Synthetic benchmarkers target more cores and saturate l1 and l2 cache. 3Dmark will favor 8320 and 8350 for this reason. Look at the game's benchmark in terms of fps. There is 1 or 2 fps difference between 6300, 8320 and 8350 with 6300 in between. Its like someone With SSD's in raid, don't really need it in actual computer use.

So basically fx 8320 is not worth buying as it will only give me 1-2 fps more(keeping in mind i do not overclock)?anyways thanks,as this will save alot of my money cause i was planing to buy a new mobo too for a 8320.
PS:i am currently using gigabyte GA-78LMT-S2 with fx-6300 and r7 260x

To start of with: http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-1968246/overclocking-amd-fx6300.html

Search google and youtube on overclocking 6300, theres plenty of guides and search also for 'gigabyte ga-78lmt-s2 overclocking', google listed me quite a few results, often people would link to other guides within.

Use realtemp to monitor cpu temperature; http://www.techpowerup.com/realtemp/

It's recommended to use an aftermarket cpu cooler if overclocking but depends how far you go and how hot the cpu gets. It also helps a lot if the Case cabinet has good air flow, sucking/pushing air.
