So after lots of research and help from people around this forum I have decided upon and ordered the parts to the gaming pc I will be building.
I decided to go with:
CPU: AMD FX-8350
CPU Cooler: CM Hyper 212 EVO
Motherboard: (this is a bit of a grey area) I purchased a Gigabyte 990FXA-UD3 Motherboard, however I've also received a used Sabertooth 990FX motherboard. I'm not sure which I want to use in my build, any suggestions?
GPU: Sapphire Radeon R9 290x
Memory: 16GB Patriot Viper 3 1866mhz DDR3 (I would have gone with 8, but I got 8 for free).
Storage: Crucial MX100 256GB SSD
Seagate 3TB 7200rpm HDD
Optical Drive: ASUS DVD/CD Writer
NZXT HUE RGB Led Controller
Power Supply: EVGA 850W
Case: Corsair 300R Windowed
I'm currently just waiting for the last few items to arrive, and am looking forward to beginning my first build. The question I have thought (asked above in list) about which motherboard I should choose, if you would be willing to share your thoughts between the 2 would be appreciated.
