Hi Guys,

Here is the problem or help that I need. I want to reinstall windows 7 as its been a few years and running sluggish.

I have one disk that windows 7 is currently installed on, on that disk I have two partitions one is for the system space (C: drive) the other is for backups and downloads etc (D: drive).

I want to be able to reinstall windows without overwriting or deleting the other partition (D:) that is on the disk.

So what is the correct way of doing this when installing windows 7? Should i delete the C: partition or should I format this? And if so I just dont want to delete that other partition with my backups on there. Let me know if this is even possible.

Also I am running a Raid 0.

Solution
Hi, It would be good to make a backup of files on D, before starting.
When asked where to install Windows. select C partition and format it. Then click load driver and load the RAID driver. With the formatted C partition selected, install Windows.
