Hello, im new to building computers. I have done some research online but im not quitte sure if this rig has any bottlenecks etc etc...

In my current computer i already have a decent graphics card, the MSI AMD R7 265x. I'm going to get another one for my new build.

This is what i got for now:

Case : CORSAIR CARBIDE SPEC-01 RED LED

Motherboard: ASROCK 970 EXTREME4

RAM: : Corsair Vengeance 8GB DDR3-1600 CL9 kit

PSU: Cooler Master G750M

Internal storage: Seagate 2TB SATA HDD

Graphics Card : 2x : MSI RADEON R7 265 2GD5 OC

Drive bay : Samsung SH-224DB

AUDIO : ASUS Xonar DG Geluidskaart

CPU : AMD 8320


The main question is, what do you guys think about this build? Im mostly worried about the CPU , i have heard the AMD cpu's get very low minimal fps and they overheat a lot, i dont care about the wattage bill :p.

Should i get a intel core i5?

Im also planning to play a lot of different games, the new Battlefield Hardline, Crysis 3 , Far Cry 4, Asassins Creed Unity, is an AMD 8320 sufficient? And do i need a aftermarket heatsink btw?

Build it then respond back, thats all I can tell you. This looks OK, but you didn't say what you want, or expect from it.

It will give you more of an idea if you build it, step back four paces, take a big deep breath,....thump your chest and shout "I MAKE PC" at the top of your lungs ....Trust me on that. Then proceed to aspire to get AT LEAST 60fps on BF4, CODAW, AND Skyrim with the best 250 mods and 4k textures. If not happy, benchmark LOL or DOTA on it. =Profit?

I'm being a proper DB....I don't mean to be sarcastic....I apologise. But still all valid points?

On a side note....The i5 is a safe bet, everything else is nice to have.

Thanks! sounds great! :D . I have seen videos of the 265x in crossfire, it will nearly get twice the performance! thats why im not planning to get '" 1 new great awesome card" . I really look forward to this build. I just really dont want a CPU that consitently drops in FPS..... Also the i5 card i want to get is like 50euros more expensive, its not that much but yeah...

I really sound like i dont know what to get right..... :S im so confused.

I'm currently rocking a single crossfire card (6870x2) its getting on a bit now, but you know what? It been a great card........and actually a little bit rare now! When the x-fire profiles and drivers were supportive...I'm still using the Catalyst 13.12 drivers, which are nearly a year old...simply because any new drivers refuse to work for newer games on this GPU. To be honest....the whole experience has put me off crossfire because its simply an amazing difference in performance when it works, but it is plagued with trouble most of the time. You need to be aware of this fact.

Its nearly as if they push you away from the lower/older cards to buy the latest. hmmmmm.

By all means do not let this dissuade you from the dual 265 idea, because crossfire needs to be seen to be believed. Its just annoying in the endgame.

Also be aware that if you crossfire the cards, you won't literally get the use of 4GB of VRAM.....it stays singular.

build it, and go for it....see what you think! Good luck!
