I want to buy new graphic card and power supply and i am really bad at this stuff ...
First :
My computer :
Windows 8.1 - 64 bit
AMD Radeon HD 7400 series
DirectX 11
Processor : Intel(R) Pentium(R) CPU G645 @ 2.90Ghz (2 CPUs), - 2.9GHz
Memory type DDR3
Channel : Single
8 g RAM

And i need to buy new power supply too , i have :
HP Chicony D11-300P1A 300 Watt Power Supply PSU 667892-001
Form Factor : ATX
Max. Output Power: 300W
Cooling: 1 Fan
Connectors: 24 Pin, 4 Pin 12 V, SATA I

My motherboard is :
Foxcom 2ADA
Chipset : Intel
PCI Expresses : max. supported x16

So my questions :
Can 128 bit graphic card work on 64 bit system ?
What graphic card will work on my computer ?
And what power supply should i buy ?
( Im looking for 600 - 750 W and with cooler )

Solution
Yes a 128bit gpu will work with a 64bit cpu :)
For a PSU, buy one from Corsair, OCZ or XFX or other well known brands and buy one with an 80+ bronze certification at least.
The corsair CX600 is the cheapest good quality PSU for your needs ;)

and so long as the psu will run it, you can put any pcie video card into your pc just fine. 550-600 watts is more than enough power to run a good card so don't be fooled by the site saying it needs 800 or more watts unless it's a $2000 super card with 2 processors and liquid cooling.

if you post what kind of games you play at what resolutions, we can help you pick a good card. clearly the more money you spend, the more you get, but if you only play minecraft you won't need an expensive card. if you want to play the newest shooters at 1080p or better, you'll need a little more gpu power to do it.

forgot to ask what kind of budget you're looking at. here's a solid $200 upgrade with an r9-280 and a good 600 watt psu on sale. newer games at 1080p but may not run ALL the eye candy all the time depending on the game.

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

Video Card: Gigabyte Radeon R9 280 3GB WINDFORCE Video Card ($164.99 @ Newegg)
Power Supply: EVGA 600B 600W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply ($34.99 @ Newegg)
Total: $199.98
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available

or if you have more to spend, here's the best bang for the buck with a gtx 970 at about $375 after rebates. all the new games with all the eye candy almost all the time at 1080p

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

Video Card: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 970 4GB WINDFORCE 3X Video Card ($339.50 @ Newegg)
Power Supply: EVGA 600B 600W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply ($34.99 @ Newegg)
Total: $374.49

yes, the 128 vs 256 bit is referring to the memory on the graphics card and has nothing to do with the motherboard memory standard. the video card is basically it's own little computer with it's own memory, power needs and cooling and such. it works independently and so long as it's plugged into the right type of slot, it does not conflict with what the computer is using.

the 64 bit processor refers to the instruction set it uses and does not mean the same thing as 128 bit memory bus which refers to the bandwidth it has available.

keep asking questions and looking for answers, it's how we all learned. google is a good friend and has taught me a lot. but we're here and willing to answer as well. just keep asking, it'll make sense the more you work with it.
