Skyrim RAM Usage

Solution
Build looks nice. However, you want a Z97 board not H97. You are picking out a K series processor and an H series board that doesn't support overclocking.

With windows 8.1 RAM usage by the OS has improved, meaning more ram will be utilized as needed. Yes, 8Gb is enough. But, 16Gb is the sweet spot now.
Skyrim uses a lot of ram actually if you push it that far. if I'm not mistaken I read somewhere that skyrim will use your Vram amount in ram and then some as if your vram is being duplicated. It could be reversed. It's been a while since I had read about that.

Skyrim and resource usage depends heavily on your choice of mods and if you use an ENB.
Beyond that are many other custom settings you can tweak that will make a better looking...
