I recently started using the readyboost feature in the Windows 7 but I have not noticed much boost in the performance of the laptop. My machine packs in i7 @2.3GHz and 8 GB DDR3 RAM. I have used readyboost with a USB 2.0 pendrive but not noticed much increase in the performance. But i was wondering that using USB 3.0 stick will offer better boost as it will be faster than the RAM and cache can be kept in that drive for faster access...Can this be done ?
