hi guys,
I am dying to play batman arkham knight and gta v. the options are a ps4 for 400$ or ugrade my old pc for 550$. in my way of thinking it doesn't really make any sense to buy a new console only for these two games but i am also worried about the requirements of these games and if my new pc can run them. it will be a waste of money if it can't run them. the pc I'm going to build is: (no overclocking for me)
Intel i5 4460 3mhz
MSI r9 270x 2gb
Corsair 8gb 1600mhz ram
Corsair CS Series 650W Modular 80 PLUS Gold
What do you suggest me to do? thank you in advance for your time (sorry for my english)

I agree to manez, You should definitely go with upgrading your PC, That way you're going to be able to play on 1080p resolution and higher fps (potentially). I would also like to know what your current system specifications are.

my current pc is a six year old system. it has a intel core 2 quad q8200s 2.33ghz, a broken nvidia 250 gts 1gb and corsair 4gb 800mhz ddr2 ram. I know it is a piece of garbage now but it was fine just to play some games as batman arkham series, max payne 3, nba 2k old gen series. As you can see I don't expect ultra-high settings for my games or high fps (I will be glad if my pc can support them) but smooth gameplay and some good graphics. In what settings do you believe this new pc will run these two games?
