M5A99X EVO R2.0 cpu led red

The past few days I've been trying to build this PC and i just cant get it.
The cpu led light is solid red, everything turns on, but no signal to screen

Specs
Fx 6350 black edition
M5A99x Evo R2.0
Hx850
G.Skill 8gb ripjaws
R9 270x

Ive tried....
-New psu
-New ram, all slots
-Checked all pins, slots, screws on mobo
-Ive tried jumper cap
-Ive clicked the bios button on the mobo, computer restarts, green bios led works, but red cpu led still on and moniter stays in sleep mode

Im debating on whether i should RMA my pcu or mobo.

From the mobo manual, what does a red light mean?

Double check you have put BOTH power supply connectors on the motherboard.

I do have both connected. Its a 24pin and a 8pin.
"if an error is found, the components led will light up"

Disconnect the OS drive. Fit an internal speaker. See is your PC posts - loads bios. If not, look up the beep code per http://www.computerhope.com/beep.htm and tell me what's wrong.

Isn't the red light the "memory ok" led? If so you have to press the "memory ok" button next to the led as you boot. AMD processors are very finicky about memory.

I7baby, i bought a new internal speaker to make sure, yeah i get zero beeps, no start, not even wake up the moniter. I tried multiple monitors.

Bmacsys, no the CPU_LED is solid red. The mem ok is far away

You need to go through Tom's checklist - http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/261145-31-perform-steps-posting-post-boot-video-problems

If that doesn't find the exact problem, you need to swap out bits eg motherboard.

Yes sir. I tried that as well. First thing monday morning i will RMA my mother board, then i will post when i receive a new one. Ive seen many of these posts with no final outcome.
