when im trying to reformat my computer none of my usb components dont work mouse or keyboard.

ok when im trying to reformat my computer none of my usb components dont work mouse or keyboard.


i get to the install windows screen but my mouse wont light up neither will my keyboard and there both plugged into the usb

also im reformatting using a usb drive

  1. Disconnect your OS drive and see if your PC posts - loads bios.
  2. yeah i can already get into windows and everything. i can get into bios.
  3. its just my usb peripherals dont work when im trying to install new windows and reformat my computer. i put in a mouse that does ps2 and then it worked but for some reason windows cant install off my usb drive.

  10. You shouldn't unless you have a problem.
  11. when i use my ps2 mouse and i try to install windows it says "no device drivers were found. make sure that the installation media contains the correct drivers, and then clock ok" but the thing is, is that the usb that contains windows is in there.
  12. Leave your PC as it is. You have no problem. You are just making a problem.

    nm i fixed it. i had to turn usb partial to full in bios. thanks for trying to help though
