Hello. I bought the following power supply, which had the necessary 6-pin connectors for the HIS RADEON HD 6870:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817101021&cm_re=TOPOWER_X3-_-17-101-021-_-Product

I installed and hooked the power supply to my motherboard, components, hard drive ,etc. However, my AOC monitor would display the logo on screen when I powered on my PC, but then it would say "No Signal" and I checked to see if everything was hooked properly ( video card, power supply, etc). Anyway, I moved a wire while the PC was on and I saw a blue spark where the CPU connector was placed. I immediately turned of my computer and it refused to turn back on. Luckily it did not fry my motherboard, but the power supply is fried because I placed my old powersupply in and my PC is functioning. I am now trying to get a refund or replacement through newegg.

Anyway, I was wondering what are good and decent priced Powersupplies? I read a couple reviews on TOPOWER X3 Series and some people saw sparks as well so maybe I should not replace with another TOPOWER X3 Series power supply.

Also, in case it happens again....how to I fix my AOC monitor when it says "no signal" after installing new video card and power supply.

Get a tier 1 or tier 2A from the power supply tier list. I have been VERY satisfied with Seasonics.
