This will give you a good idea what you need to do what you want. The GPUs are a bit dated but it is easy enough to cross reference them to a newer model of NV or AMD.

Something like a GTX 760 would do 50FPS on High at 1920x1080, it sounds like the 960 will be out soon, may be called 965.
