I have been asking alot of people here but i am still getting no-where so can anyone please help me with this
here is my configuration:
CPU-fx 6300(not overclocked) at 3.5 ghz and turbo boost 4.1ghz
GPU-changing from r7 260x 2gb to GTX 970
Motherboard- gigabyte GA-78LMT-S2
PSU-Corsair VS550 550 Watt PSU
RAM-8gb(Corsair Vengeance DDR3 8 GB (1 x 8 GB))
Cabinet-Circle Gaming Series PC Cabinet CC-820
Is it okay if i just change my GPU to gtx 970,can i get like decent fps(50ish) with most of the AAA games on high settings like far Cry 4 and AC:unity etc
PS:I know my fx-6300 will bottleneck but as long as i get decent fps i really don't care and i do not intend to OC my cpu anytime soon
I was planing to upgrade my CPU to fx-8320(3.5ghz) with a new motherboard(as this one is old and cannot handle fx8 series) but that is costing me alot,so my question is it worth it?
Thanks
