Hey guys, i need a little help here

Recently i bought an almost entire gaming pc.
I bought a 280x XFX, i have now 12 gb of memory, a 1090T processor and a seasonic bronze 750w.

I used to have a Msi 880gm e43 but died on me yesterday.
I went to a store today and bought the board on subject

Since i used the e43 very little with games and the performance was great i am kinda freaking out here

Since the asrock trade i have been noticing some hard performance drops on games like dota and borderlands pre-sequel.

Could it be the motherboard? Am i forgetting something?

Everything is updated and this is a new windows setup.

Thanks

The AsRock N68-S3 FX is a 2012 low-end Nvidea chipset model that does not support processors with a Thermal Design Power (TDP) of more than 95 watts. The AMD Phenom II X6 1090T has a TDP of 125 watts.

The Thermal Design Power (TDP) is the average maximum power a processor can dissipate while running commercially available software. TDP is primarily used as a guideline for manufacturers of thermal solutions (heatsinks/fans, etc) which tells them how much heat their solution should dissipate.

Hi calvin

Thank you for your answer.

I am currently running the 1090T in the asrock with no problem until now, i have a zalman cnps 10x quiet on it.

Do you think it's possible for my board to be the issue of the lag? If so i will need to go to the store tomorrow and trade it (bought it on saturday). Do you have any board to recommend?
