Installed with windows 8, 64 bit GPT partition style. I wanted to downgrade from 8 to 7 but i am stuck on the process. It won't allow me to install windows on any partition due to partition restriction. HELP!

PS: It won't boot my bootable fd from UEFI but it definitely works on LEGACY and it also prohibit user to delete volume in hd. HELP HELP HELP.

I don't recommend down grading a laptop because most of them are baked with a recovery partition. This partition will carry the laptop specific drivers. If you want to put in the windows 7 disk. Delete and create a new partition. Get the drivers from the vendor website. You may or may not get everything to function properly due to what windows can auto detect, and what drivers the vender can give you.
