Hey guys so, long story short, my graphics card seems to not work anymore. As soon as i boot, i am welcomed with a blank standby black screen. My mouse and keyboard are not lit up aswell. It was working the day before before i had taken it out for some classified reason. I readjusted it MULTIPLE i mean MULTIPLE times into the PCi slot, hearing the soothing *click* everytime. I am sure it is getting enough power because my power supply is a 500w and the led's are on. Everything is powered, fans are spinning, cpu fans spinning, hdd is rolling n stuff, everythings running just fine. NO BEEPS NOTHING.

Solutions i attempted: Booting with 1 stick of ram, reinstalling the drivers, to clearing the CMOS. I can boot the computer with a VGA Cable connected to the MOBO no problem. I've spent all night looking into the forums but no one seems to have a problem like mine. Since i cant use it, i am using a substitute graphics card in the same computer for now. (Nvidia GT 640 2gb).

Here are my specs:

CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E7500 @ 2.93 GHz (No overclock, Stock cooled)

RAM: PNY 2x4gb (8gb total) @1333mhz

MOTHERBOARD: a harvested vostro 230, no idea

GRAPHICS CARD: WAS an Asus Radeon HD 7770 2gb GDDR5 OC editon.
I am currently using a GT 640 as a sub

PSU: LEPA 500 watt -http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817494002
(Link to clarify)

HD: 1tb ill comment the brand if needed, im currently too tired to open the case and check.

Please help as soon as possible. Took me acouple months to save enough money to buy this card, id hate for it to go to waste :(...Thanks for reading!

Solution
This time, I would pull the card again and reinsert it, but this time, push a little harder on the side of the card. If there is a tab on the side of the slot, close it. Also, unplug the computer and attempt to start it. Plug the computer back in and try to start it. Also, load the BIOS defaults and reseat the GPU power cables.
Reboot the computer and enter the BIOS. Set the output device to the GPU, save and exit. Power off the computer and install the 7770 and move the VGA cable to the 7770. Power on the system and see if the card outputs. Also, before doing the above, take the fans off and blow the card out. When I received my grandma's computer, the GPU had so much dust on it that the computer wouldn't even OUTPUT.
