What's the difference between these two motherboards?

So I'm just about to order some pieces for a compact, budget steam machine build. People on this website have been very helpful so far, but one thing I noticed was my choice in motherboards. The Z87I AC is cheaper than the Z87I GAMING AC, but is it only their marketing department that is making me want the latter? I am using an i5 processor, 8gb of ram and a pretty good graphics card. Do I need the one built for gaming or is the other, cheaper one ok?

So I'm guessing that the bottom line is whether I want to pay like twelve more quid for better expansion and faster wifi. Probably will just because it's on sale and the marketing department won me over.

I don't like either one because they put all the SATA on the side instead in the front of the motherboard. They are ok but in having the connectors in front would be better. On the side is where the 20+4 power plug and wires will be in the way.
