Do I install my separate graphics card when I have an Intel I5 processor?

On my last computer (which I had for years) I purchased and used a PNY graphics card. It is a VCGG2101XPB GeForce 210 1GB 128-Bit DDR2.

I am currently building a PC with an Intel I5 4690K 3.5G 6M. Should I bother installing the separate graphics card I already have, or just go with the on-board graphics?

The motherboard is a ASROCK|Z97 KILLER.

Thaisnang / Easy - Thank you for the quick responses. It's good to know it is ok to do, but would there be any improved performance by using the GPU? If I were to use it for video and/or some level of gaming would the GPU help me out, or is it at the same level as the on board?
