Several days ago my Windows randomly crashed saying it had to reboot due to an error it ran into. During the restart while my PC was trying to boot up it seemed like it could not find the HD. I went to check the BIOS and sure enough it could not find my HD. I then opened up my PC case played with the Sata cable and sure enough my PC was up and running again. ( This thing happened sometimes when I would have to move my PC it wouldn't find my HD so this is how I fixed it ).

A little over 24 hours later the same thing happens only this time after playing with the cable and disconnecting and reconnecting it , it still did not work. I then disconnected all of the HD cables ( 1 Sata cable and 1 Sata power connector ) reconnected them and then turned on my PC hoping it would work. Then my HD or my Mobo started making 3 beeps and then I would get "Media Failure Check Cable" and this is where i'm currently at.

If anyone knows whats wrong or how to fix this it would be very much appreciated :)

Seems that your HDD is dead or about to die. I had similar beeps when I left my old HDD fall of my hands. If while moving your PC it got any king of bump you can start searching for a new HDD.

If you want to recover data I think there is a way of putting your HDD to work temporarily by freezing it in a refrigerator, but I'm not sure how to do it, because it didn't work for me.
