Will a ATX 500w psu work with GTX 760

Hi I just ordered a GTX 760 graphics card and I have a ATX 500w psu, I'm not worried about the voltage or power its the wires. The card has a 8 pin adapter at the top and I have looked around my psu and there isn't a wire what accepts it.

i wouldnt recommend a molex adapter, there is a reason why that psu isnt equiped with a 8pin pcie connector, maybe the 12v rail cant handle that. get a reliable one, the one you have is crap.
i have the xfx ts series 550w and it is silent and reliable

I've been using molex to PCIe adapters for years and have never had a problem and as the OP's card isn't that power hungry I reckon it'll be fine.

okay, that may be, but i wouldnt use them myself on a gpu, thats just me.

What Molex will I need, because it does comes with a 6 pin to 8 pin and the 6 pin i have is powering the CPU

I have a unused 4 pin molex plug, but I just found out that the GPU needs 2x 6 pin so could I still use a 6 pin?
