Hi I just ordered a GTX 760 graphics card and I have a ATX 500w psu, I'm not worried about the voltage or power its the wires. The card has a 8 pin adapter at the top and I have looked around my psu and there isn't a wire what accepts it.

if it doesnt have the right wire, then you have to get a new psu to power the 760

i wouldnt recommend a molex adapter, there is a reason why that psu isnt equiped with a 8pin pcie connector, maybe the 12v rail cant handle that. get a reliable one, the one you have is crap.
i have the xfx ts series 550w and it is silent and reliable :)

I've been using molex to PCIe adapters for years and have never had a problem and as the OP's card isn't that power hungry I reckon it'll be fine.

okay, that may be, but i wouldnt use them myself on a gpu, thats just me.

Fair enough but it is up to the OP which option they choose is it not?
