Hi! I would like a build of a 900$ gaming PC (use some parts from my old PC if possible without affecting performance like, say, the power supply, case etc.) that can run (1080p 60fps) games like The Witcher 3, MGS V etc. and other games that come out in about 5 years (hope it is not too much to ask). I am not really planning to overclock.

My PC specs:
PCPartPicker part list: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/4kNwjX

CPU: Intel Core i3-3220 3.3GHz Dual-Core Processor
Video Card: Gigabyte Radeon HD 6670 2GB 128-bit GDDR3 PCI-E 2.1 GV-R667D3-2GI HDCP
Case: Floston ATX, Midi Tower, 500W, Black, WINNER (power supply included)
Power Supply: Floston FL500, 500W
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-B75M-D3H Micro ATX LGA1155 Motherboard
Memory: Kingston Blu 4GB (1 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory
Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive

(Sorry for my bad english and thanks in advance! :D)

you still have a solid rig. throw that power supply in the trash and get the xfx 550w. upgrade your i3 to an i5. get 4gb more ram for a total of 8gb. and throw in a gtx970 and you will have a beast of a gaming rig.

im not sure about that floston case though. im not sure how much room you have in there. you have a micro atx sized motherboard. is the case a micro atx case? how much room do you have in the pcie16x slot? to fit a higher end graphics card like the gtx970 you need at least 270mm for that msi model i picked. if your case will not support larger graphics cards, you may need a new case with might be £50.

You 100% need a graphics card upgrade. Probably under budget but here is a recommendation. Intel CPU and AMD R9 GPU.

there is absolutely no benefit by changing from 1155 socket to a non z rated 1150 socket. and he cannot keep that power supply, period.

Thanks for the fast answer! :D. Should I go for the i5-3570k instead of the 3470? Should I get a better motherboard?

i replied to your pm.

but in short, if you wanted a 3570k, your basically needing a complete overhaul. you might as well leave your current computer alone the way it is and build an entire new rig since at that point the only thing you would be keeping is the one stick of ram and the hard drive. the cpu, mobo, ram, and power supply would all be upgraded and thats the majority of the cost.

not sure if you have a friend that might buy your current rig. adding a simple cheap £100 r9-270 to it would make it 1080p capable for any game out. otherwise your at a crossroads, add a simple i5 to your current rig, upgrade the power supply, and throw in a high end gpu which would work great. or go for a complete new rig and keep your perfectly running computer.

if you have the money then just go with the new build. then you have a brand new high quality super clean rig ready for years of use.

I see, thank you so much! I might just upgrade it because I am not thinking about overclocking. Btw any other power supply I could get instead of this one because i can't find it on online stores from my country?
