FX-6350 vs G3258

Solution
I'd gesture to say that neither processor will be all that competitive in these particular games. But the 6300 will still have a clear edge over the pentium, even overclocked.

On a budget I'd look to the 8320

I keep hearing about the 8320
Whats the big difference between 8320 and 6300?
I know it has 2 more cores but most games only use 4-6 cores

The 6300 is not a true 6 core or 8 core (6 logical processors or 8 logical processors, this doesn't make up the entirety of a "true" core though), its 3 physical cores and 4 cores, or 6 pseudo cores or 8 pseudo cores. The 8320 is worth the difference, but depends. There is no increase in single core performance going from the 6300 to the 8320, but you have that/those extra core(s) to work with. it will help a lot with; gaming (in games that are multi threaded like bf4 crisis 3 etc)
