After years and years of playing on consoles I have finally decided to treat myself to a gaming PC but I am very confused as to which components I need. The PC needs to be able to run World of Warcraft, Star Wars the Old Republic and The Elder Scrolls 5 Skyrim at the highest settings possible whilst maintaining a good FPS rate. I have a budget of £500 which only includes the components. Thanks.

This would run all games at 1080p ultra. If you wanted more storage, you could take out the optical drive, and put in a hard drive for a little extra.

The issue here is I wouldn't foresee any overclocking with that HEC power supply.

Fair enough, although considering the OP is unsure of what parts to have in his PC, i'm not sure he'd be overclocking anyway.

-Actually I think Joe's build is too expensive I mean, maybe is good but does not adjust to your budget so, The build I recommend is made to beat xbox one and ps4 this rig is made by: Pc Perspective http://www.pcper.com/news/General-Tech/Video-How-Build-Gaming-PC-Beat-PlayStation-4-and-Xbox-One

it only include the cpu without anything else, no OS, mouse, keyboard, screen.

Our build below

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/yBcssY

As you can see in the Pc Perspective build they does not include the cpu cooler, instead they use the stock cpu fan, and they add 8Gb of ram and a 600w Power Supply Unit,

In my actuall build I included cpu cooler because the web page says I have to, that's why I select that one is cheap and has good performance, but you can skip it and use the stock one check the cpu temperature, if it gets too much heat then buy a cpu cooler and select only 4 Gb ram, and a 500W PSU, that's the actuall minimum to save some mony and goes well with r9 270x Graphic card, later you can upgrade to 8 Gb ram and maybe a 600w PSU in casu you lose some power but I think you will be fine

I could recommend a cheaper CPU but this one has a very good performance and it's great for gaming, image editing, internet browsing all at the same time, thanks to multiple cores

You will spend 517.20 on US + send & taxes depends of your contry termal paste, OS, mouse keyboard and maybe screen, you can use Tv with HDMI port

you can play skyrim smoothly at ultra https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z54UyRC6Meo

If you do not have enough money you can keep saving money you are almost done if you build it you will run great any game good luck
