hello,

The parts that I will use:
Asus gtx 970 GPU
I5 4690k CPU
1tb Seagate HDD
and 4 fans (2 are red LED)

How much watts do I need?
600 - 650 -700 or 750?

Thanks!

Solution
Not the best quality unit.

I would prefer an XFX550 TS.

IF that Corsair is the ONLY option, then it would be ok I guess.

The PSU is the single most important part of a PC.
The GTX 970 will use about 150W, the rest o your system will use less than 100W, a bit more if you overclock a lot. A good 550W supply will handle that easily. This ould be a good supply
XFX TS 550W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply

@Tiny Voices. I though that the lower end Corsair RMs, including the RM650 were Tier 2a.

Seasonic M12II-620 EVO, 620 Watt ? What do you think about this? (it's cheaper than the XFX, here in Belgium)

The 550w and 650w RMs aren't too bad quality wise(but usually there are cheaper options that are just as good if not better). The the 750w, 850w and 1000w units that have quality issues.

Even since JonnyGuru himself started helping with the list it appears they are not as good as we have them listed at.

I always recommend skipping the whole RM line.

That's a good PSU and will power the system just fine.

The prices of the computer parts are very high here in Belgium. I try to build a gaming computer in a budget, it's very hard to find quality parts for low price.
