I have an ASUS A88X-Pro which is a socket FM2 mobo and an AMD A10 7850K APU running in dual graphics mode with a sapphire Radeon R7 250 Graphics card. My mobo will support another gpu, so my question is will I be able to purchase another sapphire Radeon R7 250 Graphics card and do a triple gpu setup utilizing the APU and two sapphire Radeon R7 250 Graphics cards, and can that be set up in CCC. I want more power since I'm getting into triple monitor gaming, and I'm not sure if this setup is possible. Anyone that has an understanding with crossfireX and apu's please help, thank you

Solution
You don't need the CF bridge with the R7-250. It isn't fast enough to require one. I had 2 x HD 7750 in CF awhile back. Same thing; no bridge. Unless you play some really non-demanding games, 2 x R7-250 will not handle that resolution very well. That is dual R9-290X territory to play at high in-game settings with today's A Class FPSs.

The only way you can possibly use all three GPUs would be to possibly use the APU for a separate monitor. And only if the BIOS allows for that.

I'm pretty sure Dual Graphics mode only supports the APU plus the 1st discrete card. But using dual R7-250 cards in CF will be slight faster than dual graphic mode. Both cards will be able to use their faster VRAM instead of relying on the APU's system RAM for one GPU.
But if you are going to try to do triple monitor gaming with R7-250s, you are going to be disappointed. What resolution are the monitors?

5760x1080p is the resolution. I have been somewhat dissapointed in my current set up. what do you mean by "using dual R7-250 cards in CF will be slight faster than dual graphic mode" what is CF? and if I do this will the apu still be utilized? Thanks

You know I'm stupid by CF you mean crossfire. Well is their still a way I can utilize the gpu in and apu and 2 R7 250 cards? also my current card doesn't have the "goldfingers" where you connect 2 cards together. Is that the case in some crossfireX cards?
