My pc Asus cm6850 died while changing to gaming mode from windows 7 premium. So I'm repacing motherboard and to Lga 1150 model with Sli or Crossfire in one of the reviews said my Pc tower is MATX size desktop I read that matx size motherboads best upgrading to use Atx size because of cheaper components. Do not want to spend alot new board processor and ram. my old chip ram is ddr3 1333 standard on my board going to 12gb ram cpu I5-4960k and 97 motherboard. Do need help here new faster ram 1600 or more doing this to last 4 more years also for gamming also almost forgot will get liquid cooler for cpu.

If thinking 4 years for the PC would go 2x8GB of 1866, 2133 or 2400 DRAM - price is similar to all, might look to the GSkill Snipers or Ripjaws X
