Hello Tom's,
if you have expertise or similar experience with this kinda of problem, please enlighten me.
Mobo: Asus z97 Deluxe
CPU: I7-4790K
Win8.1 pro
I got my Plextor M6E 512gb m.2 2280 setup a few days ago. Runs perfectly fine as a boot drive with UEFI bootloader. I followed this article
Now I have two Intel 730series SSD 480gb and trying to set them as on-board raid 0.
i followed these steps that I used to do
1. went into BIOS and enable Intel Rapid Storage Technology which turn SATA Mode to Raid.
2. save/exit, after BIOS post, Control+I to set up raid volume, exit
The problem is after passing the BIOS post, I hit bluescreen and then auto-restart, the bluescreen only last for a second and says there's a problem of my pc.
Is there any chance that I can keep UEFI boot and still raid them on-board? or should I look into software raid. As for me, RAID Card can't do since I am planning to add a second dedicated gpu in the future that way I have no gen3 lanes left for cpu.
note: I tried to set the bios back to default which use Legacy boot, this problem is solved, however, I would lose the premium boot speed.
